1. Business Development - Labuan offshore business

Responsibilities

  • Source, market and package new business proposals to existing and new clients.
  • Foster positive relationship with customers and initiate regular customer site visit/follow up to establish better rapport.
  • Understanding our client’s aims and objectives to advise on the most appropriate trust structures for our clients to meet their personal and business needs.
  • Be responsible on the business proposal to clients and pitch to them accordingly.
  • Proactively and actively cross sell & up sell with new and existing client.
  • Come up with market mapping with relevant, quantified and clear information to the Managing Director and Trust Officer.
  • Co-operate with other stakeholders (Operation, Finance, etc) to monitor & collect accounts receivable based on agreed terms.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant working experience preferably in international trust organisation/Labuan trust
  • A "hunter" with a focus on finding solutions and achieving sales number.
  • Fluent in English language particularly in written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese as this position will be supporting China clients.

2. Advisor - Wealth management

Responsibilities:

  • Discover customers’ needs and offer the appropriate products and services
  • Service and review the customer profile
  • Specialize in provide the important of financial planning service to potential customers, especially high net worth market
  • Specialise in Risk Management
  • Develop and reaching out to potential prospective clients and building a strong customer base.
  • Communicate and follow-up with clients on plans, track successes and inform about any modifications.
  • Play a key role in business planning and analysis, recommending strategic initiatives and providing business support
  • Monitor, track and review the performance to against company business targets.
  • Attend customer enquiries by providing the accurate solution.
  • To lead and conduct product training and marketing program.
  • Organise your own business activities and convention.

Job Requirements :

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the suite of Wealth Management products and services
  • Analytical skills with ability to identify trends, root cause and effects, and implement improved processes to increase growth and mitigate risk

3. Compliance officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process incoming application and review compliance/ KYC / investors due diligence check according to the requirement of Labuan Financial Services & Securities Act 2010
  • Process general enquiry from client and financial advisor by writing / Email or phone call
  • Liaison with Labuan Trust Company, Labuan Financial Services Authorities and Operation and Finance team
  • Attend company’s internal audit, compliance and corporate governance matters;
  • Trust related matters
  • Document control and office support
  • Administrative and Projects support
  • To oblige with Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) regulatory requirements under the provision of Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing
  • To ensure the Internal AML/CFT policies are properly developed and made available to all relevant staff. Effectively monitor the ‟compliance with the AML/CFT requirements”, particularly on CDD, record keeping and ongoing monitoring of customers and transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge in Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) compliance reporting as well as brief understanding of Labuan Financial Services & Securities Act 2010
  • Relevant experiences in any broad based AML/CFT experience or knowledge
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in Labuan Trust entity or related industries in the discipline of business compliance will be added advantages
  • Fluent in English language particularly in written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese as this position will be supporting China clients.
  • Computer literate with MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook.


4. Trust officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with new client onboarding and ongoing know your client reviews
  • Preparing of trustee and company minutes and resolutions where required;
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory requirements under the Labuan Companies Act
  • Perform compliance checks on Trusts where the company acts as trustee and related accounts
  • Maintenance and administration of trusts, foundations and offshore companies and private client mandates
  • Independently drafting of trust deeds, letter of wishes and relevant documentation
  • Handle standard trust transactions, including trust set-up, asset injections, bank account opening, restructuring, declaring distributions, change of deed’s jurisdiction, and terminations
  • Ensure adherence to the operating policies and procedures
  • Liaise and follow up with bankers, auditors/tax agents for the respective trusts
  • Maintain and organize records of all correspondence and documents
  • Assist with any administrative matters that may arise from time to time
  • Ensure that all regulatory protocols, policies and procedures are in compliance

Requirements

  • A recognised degree in Business/ Finance or relevant professional qualification
  • Relevant working experience in the trust industry
  • Existing qualified Trust Officer would be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in the trust industry
  • Adhere to high standards of integrity and efficiency
  • Well-organised, strong analytical skills, logical and must have excellent attentive to details
  • A team player with good analytical and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English language particularly in written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese as this position will be supporting China clients.


5. Assistant company secretary (Labuan company)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organise and attend board meetings and general meetings, prepare/file minutes/resolutions accordingly
  • Prepare and lodge documents with LFSA
  • Perform due diligence on the clients with regular reviews
  • Maintain statutory filings and ensure proper statutory records
  • Liaise with clients, government bodies and other related service providers, including auditors and tax agents
  • Support in the application of work permits
  • Update and maintain information databases
  • Perform ad hoc secretarial duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/Advance Dip/ Dip of Law, Accounting or Business Management or Business Administration
  • Conversant with Labuan Companies Act and familiar with regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Fluent in English language particularly in written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese as this position will be supporting China clients.
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point


6. Account & finance manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall Accounts and Finance functions including but not limited to preparation and submission of audited accounts, financial and management reports, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and projection.
  • Take charge of the overall accounting functions, including income statement, GL, AP, AR, and the full spectrum of accounts.
  • To prepare monthly payroll and ensure all documentations are complying statutory requirements (including EPF, SOCSO and PCB)
  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the accounts department, especially budgeting and cost control, internal control system, transaction-processing operations and policies.
  • Continue to improve the accounting procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Monitor all accounts payable transactions and accounts receivable collection.
  • Ensure that monthly balance sheet reconciliations are reviewed on a timely basis with adequate and constructive feedback as well as follow-up to ensure queries are answered.
  • Liaise with bankers, tax agents, co-secretary, external or internal auditors, and government authorities on Company-related matters.
  • Submission of relevant documents to authorities
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignment and duties assigned by superior from time to time
  • Experience in Taxation related matters such as Tax Computation and LHDN E-Filling will be an added advantage

Requirement:

  • Qualification: Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
  • Able to work independently, take on added responsibility, commitment and discipline.
  • Candidate must possess knowledge in Accounting, familiar in SQL Accounting Software will be an advantage
  • Able on written and oral communication skills.
  • Required language(s): Fluent in Mandarin (must), English and Bahasa Malaysia
